![]() ![]() Unlike many of my other prints which appear to be more “free”. really really like the sharp and defined edges produced as a result of the creases on the cling wrap. ![]() ![]() Prints created using crumpled cling wrap pressed onto a layer of wet paint and then transferred onto the paper. Really liked the contrast between the thiner and fragmented lines and the darker and denser areas produced. Middle two prints contain more repetitive marks to suggest palpitation of a frightened heart. Top-most and bottom-most prints created by tilting the paper upright and letting the paint drip down the page slowly. Experimentation on different ways to suggest apprehension. 2 kinds of Textured patterns created using the wrapping papers from the flower bouquet. Here’s the first week of my mark making process! Some of the tools used and the monoprints I’ve made: Tools: bubble wrap, clip wrap, paper towel, coins, cotton wool and buds, palette knife and other basic art toolsīelow are some of the products of my experimentation:ĭone using roller-overlapping segments create layers random dabbing of cotton wool and brush onto paper Pattern created by stamping the back of the calligraphy brush on paper Pattern created from the back of the brush decorative patterns created using the brushĢ bouquet of flowers I received this week!!
